WAYS OF GIVING
Gratitude flows from the recognition that who we are and
what we have are gifts to be received and shared.

Leave a Legacy of Faith, Family and Future
What will be your legacy?
At all stages in your life, the Catholic Community Foundation
(CCF) can help you find a meaningful way to benefit others through
your generosity.
Legacy giving is not only for those with wealth.
The value of the gift isn’t measured by the size or the amount,
but rather by the amount of spirit put into the act of giving. There
are many ways to give and leave a legacy. The Catholic Community
Foundation accepts gifts of cash, stocks or mutual funds, life insurance, bequests and distributions from IRA or retirement
plan assets. All gifts are tax deductible to the full extent of
the law. And you can choose the parish, Catholic school and/or Catholic
organization to benefit from your gift.
Ways of giving:
Add to existing funds (click
here for Managed Funds) – this is a quick and
easy way to put your gift to work right away. This gift can be made
in any amount.
Donor-Advised Fund – donors make a gift of $25,000
or more to the Catholic Community Foundation for the purpose of
establishing a donor advised fund under certain terms and conditions.
Donors receive a charitable tax deduction and then recommend, through
an advisory committee established by the donor, the recipients of
the earnings or give the Foundation Board the
authority to decide where the funds are most needed.
Endowment Fund – donors or institutions make
a gift of $25,000 or more to the Catholic Community Foundation for
the purpose of establishing an endowment in the Foundation with
specific purposes defined in the endowment agreement in perpetuity.
Agency Fund – non-profit institutions, Catholic
schools or parishes establish an agency fund with $25,000 or more
in the Catholic Community Foundation to provide long-term investment
opportunities to that organization with earnings going back to the
non-profit institution, Catholic school or parish.
Unrestricted Fund – all unrestricted gifts of
any amount will be put in the Unrestricted General Fund of the Foundation
and will be directed by the Board of Trustees for purposes of awarding
grants, through the recommendations of the Grants Committee, to
help sustain Catholic institutions and programs, and for general
operating purposes as needed.
